Introduction
The 1920's were a new age that was unlike all other times in the past. It was stuck in between the end of a great loss, and the verge of entering another. America had just come out of war, and many new things arose shortly afterward. The new technology that emerged and the Lost Generation’s tragedy are explained along with the rising American and sports heroes in an attempt at hope for more. Changes with prohibition and organized crime as well as modernism in art and literature took place. Finally, nativism and the revival of the Ku Klux Klan are explained, showing the great fear and prejudice that stemmed from the war.
